Regardless of what the outcome was on Prop 8; we are all citizens first of a country that has laws to protect the innocent. These laws are to be used and enforced when they are broken. The actions of the citizens that have assaulted, vandalized, and behaved in disorderly conduct has to be dealt with. All things, even protesting can be done orderly and legally without physically hurting others or destroying property. Obviously, we know the media isn't going to cover some situations. It may seem the tactics of this nature are intimidating and hold the media captive. Or the media is silent because they are in agreement. I would suspect the media wants to be found polically correct. They've wander off their jaunt of professional journalism and have entered the field of politics. With this kind of journalism, distancing from dependency of this type of media is a must. Have less involvement and that means don't listen to them. Expect nothing from them! Focus and attentions can be put towards outlets that will listen, report and do something.
Be that as it may, it seems laws were broken; charges should be pressed. To allow this to happen grants tolerance. To do nothing gives people permission to continue to disrupt and get abusive. And it will get worse.
